<p>The invention relates to a retaining device for bringing together cable-like elements, comprising a clamping portion for receiving the elements, said clamping portion having at least two clamping elements that are aligned in the closed position. An actuating portion for converting the clamping elements into an open position is provided, said actuating portion being arranged on the other side of a pivoting axis relative to the clamping portion.
