<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods for manufacturing a cap to be mounted on an exposed part, exposed from a surface of a member to be fastened, of a fastener fastened to the member to be fastened in a state of fastening to the member to be fastened and for mounting the manufactured cap on the exposed part.SOLUTION: Methods include the processes of: preparing a sealant; filling a recessed part of a cap with the sealant which still have flowability before being hardened completely; refrigerating the cap having been filled with the sealant and thereby freezing the sealant; defoaming the sealant prior to the freezing; heating the cap filled with the frozen sealant and thereby unfreezing the sealant; drying the unfrozen cap; and mounting the dried cap on an exposed part.</p> |
