<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for fusion cutting of a packaging film that can carry out a stable fusion cutting at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The fusion cutting device includes: a fusion cutting blade; an upstream side film pressing body disposed upstream of the fusion cutting blade, and protruding toward a film strip more than toward the fusion cutting blade; a downstream side film pressing body disposed downstream of the fusion cutting blade, and protruding toward the film strip more than toward the fusion cutting blade; a first mounting member at which the fusion cutting blade is set; a second mounting member for supporting the upstream side film pressing body slidably movable relative to the first mounting member; a third mounting member for supporting the downstream side film pressing body slidably movable relative to the first mounting member; resilient bodies provided between the first mounting member and the upstream side film pressing body and between the first mounting member and the downstream side film pressing body, and for biasing the upstream side pressing body and the downstream side pressing body toward the film strip; and a drive source for driving the fusion cutting blade to freely contact or separate from the film strip. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
