In a step-up DC-DC converter (101) that steps up a voltage input from a DC power supply (Vin) and provides a stepped-up voltage to a load (RL), a change in a current flowing through a switching device (Q1) is detected as a change in voltage. The detected voltage is superimposed on a detection signal of an output voltage (Vo) output to a load (RL), and the detection signal after superimposition is input to an error amplifier (11). On the basis of a result of a comparison with a reference voltage (Vref) performed in the error amplifier (11), a PWM modulation signal is generated in a comparator (12), switching devices (Q1 and Q2) are driven by a driver (10), and a current-voltage characteristic is made to be inclined. As a result, provided is a DC-DC converter in which a current-voltage characteristic can be made to be inclined without causing a loss to be generated. |
