PURPOSE:To provide a clothing material which comprises a plurality of air cells distributed in a sheet made of an airproof material wherein these air cells are mutually connected and filled with a gas and is useful as a protective and arctic clothe because of its resistance to deterioration with time such as cracks or breakage by bending and stretching. CONSTITUTION:A couple synthetic resin sheets 2, 3 are heat-sealed in a lattice pattern, thus the unsealed parts form air cells. Further, narrow unsealed points are provided in the lattice pattern to form the paths 5 connecting the air cells mutually and pressurized air is fed from a bomb 7 into individual cells to give this clothing material. The protective and arctic functions can be met by controlling the amount of the air, thus the protective or other functions can be improved without increase in weight and bulkiness. |
