<p>PURPOSE: To use an input device both as a mouse and a digitizer tablet. CONSTITUTION: A pressure sensitive pad 12 detects the two-dimensional coordinate value of a pressing point by a pen or a finger and the absolute specification or relative specification of an input coordinate value is set by a center button 16. A CPU 24 outputs the input coordinate value by the pressure sensitive pad 12 to an I/F 28 as an absolute coordinate value when the absolute specification is set by the center button 16 and outputs the input coordinate value by the pressure sensitive pad 12 to the I/F 28 as a relative coordinate value when the relative specification is set by the center button 16. The CPU 24 also outputs the ON/OFF conditions of a left button 14 and a right button 18 to the I/F 28, however, when the absolute specification is set, outputs data for indicating that the left button 14 is pressed to the I/F 28 regardless of the operation conditions of the left button 14. The I/F 28 transfers the data from the CPU 24 to a computer 30.</p> |
