<p>The apparatus has a transport device (2) that transports multiple holding devices (4) for containers (10) individually along a pre-specified transport path. One of the holding devices includes a pair of holding elements (14a, 14b) i.e. passive holding element, for gripping the containers. The holding device is rotated in relation to the transport device along a pre-specified common rotary axis (D). A transport chain is provided for transporting the holder devices, and the holding elements are extended along different directions in relation to the rotary axis. An independent claim is also included for a method for transporting containers.</p> |
