PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a seedling grower of a cell type with improved labor saving by laying a water-feeding material of strong water absorption through the capillary phenomenon on the downward-inclined seedling platform in which water is fed to the seedlings formed in a cell from the bottom of the tray thereby being capable of always feeding water. SOLUTION: The seedling platform 1 is incline downward, has a water-feeding tray 2 on the upper side and the recovering tray 3 on the lower side and they are connected with communicating pipes 4. Water is automatically fed to the water-feeding tray 2 with a ball tap or the like. The water-feeding material having strong water-feeding capacity is prepared by laminating a waterproof sheet 6, a nonwoven fabric 7 and a rooting-inhibitory sheet 8 and the material is applied over from the water-feeding tray 2 through the seedling platform to the water-recovering tray 3 and the tray 5 is placed on the water-feeding material on the platform 1, to feed water to the seedlings in a cell form from the bottom of the tray 5. |
