PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the shift, flow, plural transfer and the like of pits and groups by disposing the position of the outermost periphery of pits stamped on a stamper mounted on a cavity on the inner peripheral side by the specified length or longer from the outer periphery of a mold cavity. SOLUTION: A stamper 4 is fixed on a mold cavity mirror face 1 of an optical disk base molding die by a fixing tool. Irregularities such as pits and groups of submicron sizes are stamped on the cavity side of the stamper 4. An end section 3 of the cavity is usually formed into the right angle. A mold, on which the outermost sections of pits on the stamper 4 mounted on the mold cavity are disposed on the inner peripheral side by 4mm or more from the outer periphery (cavity end section 3) of the mold cavity, is used. |
