PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize unified management of multimedia data by storing attribute information of various data stored in a video server and a file server to a database of a control server. SOLUTION: A control server 1 stores attribute information of various data stored in a video server 2 and a file server 4 to a database 7 by using a data processing program group 8 and a database management system(DBMS) 9. Upon the receipt of attribute information from a user terminal equipment 5, the control server 1 uses a function of the DBMS 9 to specify a data file corresponding to a given condition and sends information to the terminal equipment 5. Thus, unified management and retrieval operation management of multimedia data including moving image data and its associated attribute information and still image, voice texts other than the moving image are realized. |
