<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal selector with which information signal can be easily selected out of a lot of information signals. SOLUTION: A personal identification code ID corresponding to the personal information of a recipient is supplied from the side of a broadcast station to the recipient, and this code ID is supplied from an information supply part 54 to a select signal generating part 52. A lot of information signals such as signals to which additional information containing plural programs and user setting codes for setting recipients corresponding to programs are multiplexed, for example, are received. Additional information FD and broadcast signals HS of plural programs are demultiplexed from these received signals by a demultiplex part 51. At the signal generating part 52, the code ID is collated with the user setting code of the additional information FD and a channel select signal ACH is generated and supplied to a signal selecting part 53. At the signal selecting part 53, any one broadcasting signal is selected out of broadcasting signals HS of plural programs based on the select signal ACH and outputted. Even without successively selecting and retrieving a lot of information signals, the required information signal can be easily selected.</p> |
