ROTARY TRANSFORMER HAVING FLEXIBLE PCB

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the production of a rotary transformer and to increase the productivity by providing the inside of annular grooves with flexible printed circuit boards (flexible PCBs). SOLUTION: This rotary transformer consists of a rotary transformer section (rotor) 100 and a stationary transformer (stator) not shown in the figure. This rotor 100 has the first annular grooves 101, 102 formed on its plane, first annular parts 111, 121 having first circuit patterns 113, 123 and first terminal parts 112, 122 formed on them. The first annular parts 111, 121 have the first flexible PCBs 110, 120 to be inserted into the first annular grooves 101, 102. The stator, not shown in the figure, has the second annular grooves formed to correspond to the first annular grooves 101, 102 of the rotor 100, the second annular parts, the second terminal parts and the second flexible PCBs. As a result, since the work to mount the flexible PCBs into the annular grooves is simpler that the conventional coil winding work, the productivity is improved.
