PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a straight tube type lighting device which is stably lit up.SOLUTION: A lighting device includes: a transmissive cylindrical member 10 (polycarbonate portion) composed of a non-glass material; a light emitting body 54 (LED) disposed inside of the transmissive cylindrical member 10; and a connecting member 11 fixed to an inner wall surface of the transmissive cylindrical member 10 and supporting the light emitting body 54. The connecting member 11 supports the light emitting body 54 at a position between the inner wall surface of the transmissive cylindrical member 10 and a central axis of the transmissive cylindrical member. A manufacturing method includes: a step for fixing the supporting member 11 to the inner wall surface of the transmissive cylindrical member 10 by a slide mechanism sliding in the longitudinal direction of the transmissive cylindrical member 10; a step for fixing a substrate 50 to which the light emitting body 54 is fixed, to the supporting member 11 through the sliding mechanism sliding in the longitudinal direction of the transmissive cylindrical member 10; and a step for mounting connectors to both ends of the transmissive cylindrical member 10 to which the substrate 50 and the supporting member 11 are inserted, through joints. |
