<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain excellent reception quality when an LDPCP-CC is generated from a convolution code, and a signal sequence is sent after subjected to an error-correction encoding using the LDPC-CC. <P>SOLUTION: "1" is added to an approximate lower triangular matrix of a check matrix H (501, 502); andα<SB>1</SB>, toα<SB>n</SB>are set to not less than 2K+1 andβ<SB>1</SB>, toβ<SB>m</SB>are set to not less than 2K+1 in expression (1) (where X(D) is a polynomial representation of an information sequence, P(D) is a polynomial representation of a parity sequence, K<SB>x</SB>, K<SB>1</SB>, K<SB>2</SB>, to K<SB>n-1</SB>are each an integer not less than 0, and (n) is a natural number) as a parity check polynomial of the convolution code at this time, thereby finding the parity sequence P(D) from expression (1). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
