<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle for laser beam machining that can automatically adjust the pressure of assist gas according to the distance between a nozzle and a workpiece without a large increase in cost, in a laser beam machining apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The nozzle 1 for laser beam machining for machining a workpiece W by using a laser beam and an assist gas G includes: an assist gas jetting port 12 provided at the distal end of the nozzle, and for supplying the assist gas G to a portion to be machined of the workpiece; a gas adjusting hole 23 established separately from the assist gas jetting port, and for releasing the assist gas G therefrom; and open/close adjustment mechanisms 30, 40 for adjusting an opening degree of the gas adjusting hole according to the distance between the distal end of the nozzle and the workpiece. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
