<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material positioning device for a plate working machine which is capable of working a stock having a specified large size without re- holding and with excellent accuracy, and which is compact in size. SOLUTION: Relating to a material positioning device for a plate working machine 1 in which an X-axis carriage provided with a material holding device 32 is movably provided in the X-axis direction, and a Y-axis carriage 21 capable of moving the X-axis carriage in the Y-axis direction is provided, an X-axis guide rail 27 is provided on the Y-axis carriage 21, a straight motion bearing 29 to be engaged with the X-axis guide rail 27 is provided at plural positions including both ends and a middle part of the X-axis carriage 31, an X-axis carriage driving means capable of moving the X-axis carriage 31 over the span of the Y-axis carriage 21 is provided, and both end parts of the X-axis carriage 31 are movably arranged at the position free from the X-axis guide rail 27.</p> |
