PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hardened body having excellent appearance and flexural strength by hardening a hydraulic material containing a steelmaking slag, a gypsum and one or more methyl celluloses. SOLUTION: A hydraulic material in an amount of 100 pts.wt. obtained by mixing a gypsum with a steelmaking slag in the weight ratio of 1/10 to 1/5 is mixed with 0.05-2 pts.wt. of one or more of methyl celluloses, 1-5 pts.wt. of a reinforcing fiber, <=70 pts.wt. of an aggregate component such as silica rock, etc., to give a raw material mixture, which is incorporated with water in an amount to make the raw material mixture/water 3/1 to 1/1 by weight to give a slurry. The slurry is subjected to cast molding and cured to give an inorganic hardened body. Portland cement and blast furnace water-granulated slag are used as the hydraulic material besides the gypsum and the steelmaking slag. Methyl cellulose, hydroxymethyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, etc., may be cited as the methyl cellulose. An organic fiber such as polyvinyl alcohol-based fiber, etc., or an inorganic fiber such as glass wool, etc., is used as the reinforcing fiber. |
