摘要 Provided is a construction machine including an electrical component and efficiently cooling it. The construction machine includes an upper slewing body having an air intake chamber capable of taking in air, an engine, the electrical component, an air intake duct guiding the air inside the air intake chamber toward the engine, a blow fan directing the air inside the air intake chamber toward the engine through the air intake duct, and electrical-component cover covering the electrical component. The electrical-component cover defines an air flow path for flowing air along the electrical component, between the electrical-component cover and the electrical component thereinside. The electrical-component cover includes an air inlet communicating an upstream portion of the air flow path with the air intake chamber and an air outlet communicating a downstream portion of the air intake chamber with the air intake duct.

A construction machine, comprising: a lower traveling body; an upper slewing body slewably loaded on the lower traveling body, the upper slewing body including an air intake chamber capable of taking in air; an engine loaded on the upper slewing body; an electrical component loaded on the upper slewing body; an air intake duct forming a duct flow path for guiding the air taken into the air intake chamber toward the engine; a blow fan to direct the air inside the air intake chamber toward the engine through the duct flow path; and an electrical-component cover which covers the electrical component so as to define an air flow path, between the electrical-component cover and the electrical component disposed on an inner side of the electrical-component cover, for flowing air along the electrical component, the electrical-component cover including an air inlet which brings an upstream portion of the air flow path into communication with the air intake chamber and an air outlet which brings a downstream portion of the air flow path into communication with the air intake duct.
