摘要 An imaging device of the present invention operates with supply of power from a main power supply, and comprises an imaging section having an image sensor for forming a subject image and outputting image data, a variable voltage conversion section, supplied with power from the main power supply, for converting to a designated voltage based on control signals, and outputting the designated voltage, a constant voltage section that receives output of the variable voltage conversion section and supplies a constant voltage signal to the image sensor, a noise level prediction section for predicting and outputting a noise level of image data of the image sensor, and a control section for calculating a voltage value input to the constant voltage section in accordance with output from the noise level prediction section, and designating an output voltage to the variable voltage conversion section.

An imaging device, operated by power supplied from a main power supply, comprising: an imaging section having an image sensor for forming a subject image and outputting image data; a variable voltage conversion section, supplied with power from the main power supply, for converting to a designated voltage based on control signals, and outputting the designated voltage; a constant voltage section that receives output of the variable voltage conversion section and supplies a constant voltage signal to the image sensor; a noise level prediction section for predicting and outputting a noise level of image data of the image sensor; a display switching section for carrying out display by switching between at least two types of display section, being a first display section provided on a rear surface of the imaging device and a second display section, having an eyepiece, for electronic view display; and a control section for calculating a voltage value input to the constant voltage section in accordance with a display section that has been switched to by the display switching section, and output from the noise level prediction section, and designating an output voltage to the variable voltage conversion section.
