Provided is an air conditioner which can improve maintenance by allowing a fan to be detached without removing a guide member. The air conditioner of the present invention comprises: a main frame with an opening on the bottom; a ceiling panel placed on the bottom of the main frame to cover the opening and to have an inlet, through which air is taken in, and an outlet, through which air is discharged; a fan installed in the main frame through the opening to be detachable and to induce indoor air to be vertically introduced through the inlet and to be discharged horizontally; a heat exchanger placed in the direction of the fan and distanced from the fan by at least its radius and to perform heat exchange of the air discharged from the fan; and, a guide member placed between the fan and the heat exchanger in the direction of the fan and distanced from the fan by at least its radius and to guide the air discharged from the fan toward the heat exchanger. |
