PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive chamber type transformer in which occupation volume is reduced while employing the same general purpose coil bobbin for chamber type transformers of various specifications by extending the creeping distance of a partition wall for separating respective chambers. SOLUTION: The coil bobbin for a chamber type transformers comprises at least one chamber 105a, 105c, 105e for winding a primary winding 107a, 107b, 107c, and at least one chamber 105b, 105d, 105f for winding a secondary winding 108a, 108b, 108c. The chambers 105a, 105c, 105e for primary winding and the chambers 105b, 105d, 105f for secondary winding are arranged in the direction of the rotary axis of a coil bobbin 103 and the width of at least one chamber is adjustable.
