A ship having a structure to prevent a root portion of a propeller from being damaged is disclosed. According to the present invention, the ship having a structure to prevent a root portion of a propeller from being damaged comprises: a driving shaft installed in a rear side of the ship; a hub connected to the driving shaft to be rotated; a plurality of propeller wings coupled to an outer circumferential surface of the hub; and a plurality of cavitation restraining protrusion units coupled to the outer circumferential surface of the hub and disposed on the front side of the root portion of the propeller wing based on a navigation direction of the ship.
