1. An electrowetting display device comprising:
a plurality of first electrodes disposed on a first base substrate, wherein each first electrode is positioned to correspond, respectively, to a position of one of a plurality of pixels; a partition wall disposed on the first base substrate, wherein the partition wall comprises a plurality of intersecting partition wall portions to thereby partition individual pixels of the plurality of pixels; a second electrode disposed on the partition wall, the second electrode including a plurality of openings, wherein each opening corresponds to a position of one or more pixels of the plurality of pixels; a second base substrate facing the first base substrate; and an electrowetting layer disposed between the first base substrate and the second base substrate, wherein the electrowetting layer is configured to move in response to voltages applied to the first electrodes and the second electrode.
