PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer photosensitive material having satisfactory oxygen intercepting performance and giving a photosensitive printing plate for flexographic printing free of rounding at the upper part, excellent in image quality and having good printing resistance after a direct plate making process. SOLUTION: The multilayer photosensitive material for producing a flexographic printing plate is obtained by successively stacking (A) a base layer, (B) a photosensitive layer containing an elastomeric binder, at least one monomer and a non-IR sensitive polymerization initiator, (C) a barrier layer containing at least one selected from polyvinylpyrrolidones and alkali-soluble cellulose derivatives, removable in development and substantially transparent to non-IR and (D) a mask forming layer containing a film forming binder, an IR absorbent and a non-IR shielding material and removable by irradiation with IR laser light. |
