The present invention relates to an artificial culture method for producing a large amount of mycelia of Morchella esculenta which particularly includes the steps of: culturing a mother starter of Morchella esculenta on a medium for starter; obtaining an original starter of Morchella esculenta by culturing the cultured mother starter of Morchella esculenta on a solid medium; and obtaining mycelia of Morchella esculenta by culturing the obtained original starter of Morchella esculenta in a culture solution. According to the method for culturing Morchella esculenta of the present invention, problems of resource depletion and eco-system destruction caused by collection of fruiting bodies of Morchella esculenta by an existing method are solved, and a period and costs for culturing Morchella esculenta can be reduced.
