A driving device for a thin film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD), comprising: at least one first TFT and at least one second TFT formed on a base substrate; a clock signal input terminal; and a ground terminal; wherein the first TFT is of a top-gate configuration, and the second TFT is of a bottom-gate configuration, and the first TFT is configured to allow its amorphous semiconductor layer to be illuminated by light emitted from a backlight of the TFT-LCD to increase its turning-on current; and wherein one of a source electrode and a drain electrode of the first TFT is a driving signal output terminal of the driving device, the other of the source electrode and the drain electrode of the first TFT is connected with the clock signal input terminal for receiving a clock signal, one of a source electrode or a drain electrode of the second TFT is electrically connected with the driving signal output terminal of the driving device, and the other of the source electrode and the drain electrode of the second TFT is electrically connected with the ground terminal.
