The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for generating stream for digital broadcasting, wherein transport stream (TS) can be generated for each digital broadcasting scheme to be flexibly used in a field of a terrestrial broadcast test and for study. The apparatus of the present invention comprises: a stream providing unit for providing a transmission signal; a stream analyzing unit for analyzing transmission scheme of the transmission signal inputted by the stream providing unit; a multiplexing unit for standardizing and outputting the transmission signal for each transmission scheme of the digital broadcast included in the transmission signal inputted by the stream analyzing unit; and a stream output unit for outputting the standardized transmission signal inputted by the multiplexing unit in a form of stream. The apparatus for generating stream for digital broadcasting according to the present invention has a function of generating an asynchronous serial interface (ASI), which is an MPEG2-TS output signal used in transmitting a broadcast, and uses a European-style DVB-T2 gateway technology and an ensemble, transfer, interface (ETI) ensemble multiplexing technology, which is DAB and DMB modulation interface. The stream generated according to the present invention can be used for conventional broadcasting schemes such as DAB, DMB, and ATSC, supports next-generation scheme such as DVB-T2 and ATSC3.0, and replaces the head-end equipment for digital broadcast transmission. Accordingly, transport stream can be generated for each digital broadcast transmission scheme to be flexibly used in a field of a terrestrial broadcast test and for study. |
