PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving force transmission device capable of reliably switching rotation members between connected and disconnected states.SOLUTION: The driving force transmission device includes a switching member 13 capable of switching a first rotation member 11 and a second rotation member 12 between connected and disconnected states, a second friction member 16 for generating friction force to suppress differential rotation between the first rotation member 11 and the second rotation member 12, a piston member 5 having first-sixth locked parts 51-56 in a stepwise fashion for thrusting the switching member 13 and the second friction member 16 in the axial direction, an energizing mechanism 2 for thrusting the switching member 3 and the second friction member 16 to the side of the piston member 5, and a locking member 19 for locking one of the first-sixth locked parts 51-56. The locking member 19 slides along inclined faces 51a-56a of the first-sixth locked parts 51-56 to allow the rotation of the piston member 5. The piston member 5 is always pushed against the side of the locking member 19 by the energizing force of the energizing mechanism 2. |
