PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte for lithium air batteries which is improved in oxidation resistant and lithium salt solubility; and a lithium air battery including such an electrolyte.SOLUTION: An electrolyte for lithium air batteries comprises: a compound expressed by the chemical formula 1; and a lithium salt. A lithium air battery comprises the electrolyte for lithium air batteries. (In the formula, Rand Rindependently represent H or CRRR; Rto R, Rand Rindependently represent H, a halogen atom, a nitro group, a cyano group, a carboxylic acid group, a substituted/unsubstituted alkyl group with C-C, a substituted/unsubstituted aryl group with C-C, or a substituted/unsubstituted heteroaryl group with C-C; m is 1-1,000,000; n and p are 0-1,000,000, which are independent of each other; m+n+p≥3.) |
