PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water supply device A to rapidly increase a supply hot water temperature during a return to normal operation from defrosting operation and excellent in hot water storage efficiency. SOLUTION: During a return to normal operation from defrosting operation, a controller 9 for the hot water supply device A brings a compressor 1 into an operation state and drives an expansion valve 3 in a closing direction, and brings an outdoor fan 41 into an operation state. A circulation pump 6 is stopped or brought into a low capacity state to effect return operation. During the return operation, a refrigerant discharge temperature is increased to 90 deg.C or higher and when a supply hot water temperature is brought into a supply hot water temperature >= (a target boiling temperature -3 deg.C), the circulation pump 6 is brought into an operation state and returns to normal operation. |
