PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting device configured to prevent an erroneous arrangement of a lid body for closing an opening of a compartment for a drum.SOLUTION: A lifting device includes a drum 28 to draw a cable connected to a carrier for moving up and down a windowpane. A compartment 50 for accommodating the drum 28 therein includes: a peripheral wall 51; a lid body 60 having first and second fitting parts 63 and 64; and first and second fixing parts 55 and 56. The first and second fitting parts 63 and 64 of the lid body 60 are respectively disposed at rotation symmetrical positions. A projection 65 contactable with a side surface 56b of the second fixing part 56 is disposed at an edge of the second fitting part 64. |
