PHOTON-COUNTING CT APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost of a detector and an amount of collected data in photon counting CT.SOLUTION: An X-ray source 13 generates X-rays. A hybrid detector module 15 comprises a plurality of CT detectors 15-1 for detecting the X-rays generated from the X-ray source 13, and a plurality of PCCT detectors 15-2. The plurality of CT detectors 15-1 output actually measured integration signals related to the detected X-rays. The plurality of PCCT detectors 15-2 output actually measured count signals for each of a plurality of energy bands related to the detected X-rays. An estimation part 35 estimates the count signal related to the CT detector 15-1 of an estimation target among the plurality of CT detectors 15-1 based on the actually measured integration signal output from the CT detector 15-1 of the estimation target and the actually measured count signals output from the PCCT detectors. An image reconfiguration part 39 reconfigures a PCCT image based on the estimated count signal and the actually measured count signals.
