PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a separator for aluminum electrolytic capacitors, which is superior in voltage endurance characteristics and ESR characteristics; and an aluminum electrolytic capacitor having such a separator for aluminum electrolytic capacitors.SOLUTION: A separator for aluminum electrolytic capacitors comprises at least one layer of which the absolute value of a zeta potential serving as an index of a surface potential is 0-50.0 mV, and the density is 0.700-1.400 g/cm. An aluminum electrolytic capacitor comprises: a piece of positive electrode aluminum foil; a piece of negative electrode aluminum foil; and the separator. |
