DETECTION METHOD USING SOUND WAVE, AND NON-CONTACT ACOUSTIC DETECTION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection method using a sound wave in which reduction of the detection reliability of a detection object (defective part or the like) due to an optical noise is suppressed.SOLUTION: In the detection method using a sound wave, the sound wave is radiated to a surface of an irradiated body including a detection object inside it, the vibration speed is measured at a plurality of measurement places on its surface, and the position of the detection object is determined. The detection method includes: a process of radiating the sound wave from a sound wave emission source, vibrating the surface of the irradiated body, and measuring the vibration speed at each measurement place; and a process of performing specific information processing on the basis of the obtained measurement result of the vibration speed.
