PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a whitening ratio for drying glutinous unhulled rice at a crop dryer machine.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a crop drying machine comprising non-glutinous unhulled rice drying set means (SW6) for setting non-glutinous unhulled rice drying mode; glutinous unhulled rice drying set means (SW6) for setting non-glutinous unhulled rice drying mode; and moisture measuring means (26) for measuring an average moisture content in reference to moisture content of every particle of many sample unhulled rices. There is provided a controller (41) operated in such a way that, during drying work for glutinous unhulled rice in which glutinous unhulled rice drying mode is selected, as the drying work is promoted through hot air drying to cause moisture content to reach a prescribed moisture content near a target moisture content, the hot air drying is stopped, and the work is transmitted to a halt drying process performed by ventilation drying for a prescribed time; upon completion of the halt drying process, hot air drying is applied up to the target moisture content; and upon reaching the target moisture content, the drying work is finished. |
