PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information provision device capable of extracting a variety of information.SOLUTION: An information provision device follows the steps of: extracting relevant information related to users that satisfy a first extraction condition from users related to a target item as target item-related information; extracting items related to users included in the extracted target item-related information as similar candidate items; extracting relevant information related to users that satisfy a second extraction condition from users related to the extracted similar candidate items as similar candidate item-related information; and extracting items similar to the target item from the similar candidate items as similar items based on the target item-related information and the similar candidate item-related information.
