PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide tool and system for facilitating a surgery by more safely and surely separating muscles and fatty tissues around a nerve from the nerve.SOLUTION: A tool is intended to monitor the proximity of a nerve during a backbone surgery of a patient. The tool includes: a finger fitting part; a connection part connectable to a nerve monitoring system; a cable to connect the connection part and the finger fitting part; and an electrode formed on the finger fitting part.
