PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow-through type method for producing barium titanate having nano-level particle size and excellent dielectric characteristics.SOLUTION: At a reaction step P3, a hydrothermal reaction of a titanium dioxide TiOsol with a barium hydroxide Ba(OH)aqueous solution is performed in a flow-through type reactor 44 while using supercritical water at the temperature equal to or higher than 374°C under the pressure equal to or higher than 22 MPa for 1 second or 10 seconds. Since the hydrothermal reaction is performed at high temperature under high pressure for a short time, the barium titanate BaTiOhaving high crystallinity, high dielectric constant and nano-level particle size can be obtained. |
