PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement resource placement by deriving abstraction level information related to performance of a server, enabling a selection of a server suited as a resource placement destination, and selecting the server suited as the resource placement destination.SOLUTION: An abstraction method of a performance of a server in an IT system includes: providing software environment with an identifier consisting of an integer value for each software environment; deriving a numeric value representing a surplus performance of the server; and defining the identifier provided to the software environment of the server and the numeric value representing the surplus performance derived for the server, as abstraction level information of the server. An abstraction level management device 10 inquires to detailed level management systems 9-1 and 9-2 to acquire the abstraction level information, and selects a resource placement destination in the IP system on the basis of the abstraction level information. |
