PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member for electrophotography that can achieve both properties of slidability of the surface of a polymer layer and toner releasability, without largely depending on a material of a matrix polymer forming a skeleton of the polymer layer.SOLUTION: A member for electrophotography R is used for an electrophotographic device. A polymer layer 1 has a first layer 11 including a member surface. The first layer 11 includes an F element and a Si element, and the concentration of the F element in the first layer 11 is higher than the concentration of the Si element in the first layer 11. The thickness of the first layer 11 is 3 nm or less. The polymer layer 1 may have a lamination structure in which a base layer 14, a third layer 13, a second layer 12, and the first layer 11 are laminated in this order. |
