PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiving device and a remote viewing method that transmit information of an emergency warning broadcast to a terminal device located in an area where the information of the emergency broadcast is needed.SOLUTION: A receiving device receives an emergency alarm broadcast and transmits information of the emergency alarm broadcast to a terminal device which is paired. The receiving device includes: a broadcast reception part which receives the emergency alarm broadcast; a viewing control part which controls remote viewing of the emergency alarm broadcast at the terminal device; a terminal position information management part which manages position information sent from the terminal device; an object area information management part which manages object area information of the emergency alarm broadcast; and a terminal position determination part which collates the position information with the object area information so as to determine whether the terminal device is in the object area. Then the viewing control part allows the terminal device to view the emergency alarm broadcast when the terminal position determination part determines that the terminal device is in the object area. |
