PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-stage pilot type solenoid valve that reduces the size of the whole solenoid valve and is excellent in mountability.SOLUTION: In the two-stage pilot type solenoid valve, a first valve element 20 slidably fitted and inserted to a first valve chamber 11a is movable in a different direction from lifting directions of a valve stem 30 to which a second valve element 31 is provided and a pilot valve element 50 that is opening/closing driven in response to a lifting operation of the valve stem 30.
