PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixation device capable of reducing error determination for a rotational state of a first rotor.SOLUTION: A fixation device 100 includes: a first rotor 1; a heater 6; a pressure receiving member 2; a support member 3; a second rotor 4; a position detection part 5; and a determination part 81. The second rotor 4 sandwiches a recorded medium P with the pressure receiving member 2 with the first rotor 1 interposed therebetween and forms a fixation nip N. The position detection part 5 detects positions La and Lb in the diameter direction on an outer peripheral surface 11 of the first rotor 1. The determination part 81 determines the rotational state of the first rotor 1 on the basis of the detection result of the position detection part 5. The position detection part 5 includes a first position detection member 51 and a second position detection member 52. The first position detection member 51 is disposed upstream the fixation nip N along the rotational direction R1 of the first rotor 1. The second position detection member 52 is disposed downstream the fixation nip N along the rotational direction R1. |
