PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power network system capable of completely separating a power router whose communication with a control device is cut off from the other power routers or power cells.SOLUTION: A power network system includes: power cells including power routers to be asynchronously connected to an external power system; and a second control device for controlling one or more power cells. The second control device is configured to, when detecting the abnormality of communication between an own device and the power router, control to stop power transmission/reception between the power router in which the abnormality has been detected and the other power routers connected to the power router, and a first control device included in the power router is configured to, when detecting the abnormality of communication between the power router and the second control device, control to stop the power transmission/reception of power conversion legs connected to the other power routers.
