PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To diagnose, at an early stage and accurately, long-term deterioration of a cooler for cooling a power conversion circuit generating a transiently changing thermal load.SOLUTION: At a power converter 4 including a power conversion circuit 100 and a cooler 101 for performing processing of dissipating heat generated by the power conversion circuit 100 to the ambient air, temperature sensors whose measurement targets are representative temperature (Tb201) of the cooler 101 and ambient temperature (Ta202), respectively, and a current sensor whose measurement target is input/output current (Im) controlled by the power conversion circuit 100 are disposed. A state monitor 106 receives, as input, signals from both temperature sensors and the current sensor and estimates performance of the cooler (101). |
