PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that can suppress a change in chromaticity of a liquid crystal display device.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device 10 includes a first light source 11 that emits blue light and green light having the intensity depending on the intensity of the blue light and a light intensity detection part 18 that detects the light intensities of the blue light and green light. The liquid crystal display device 10 further includes a light source control part that controls the intensity of light emitted from the first light source 11 on the basis of the intensity of the green light, and an image control part that adjusts the dynamic range of blue in an image displayed by a liquid crystal display part 17 on the basis of the light intensities of the blue light and green light.
