摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescence imaging device for measuring a pH and distribution of chloride ion concentration on a material surface at the initial stage of metal corrosion of a stainless steel, etc., and the changes with time as an image or a moving picture.SOLUTION: The imaging device for measuring and recording a pH and distribution of chloride ion concentration on a material surface in an aqueous solution as an image includes a rare earth complex and a quinine sulfate, consists of a solid matrix transparent to visible light and exhibits a fluorescence corresponding to the pH and the chloride ion concentration in an aqueous solution having a pH of four or less. The rare earth complex is a complex of terbium trivalent ion having dipicolinic acid as a ligand, and the solid matrix has desirably a surface layer formed on quartz by a sol gel method using a silicon compound including polyvinyl alcohol and orthosilicic acid tetramethyl as a raw material.
