PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphor and, more particularly, a phosphor emitting yellow light and a light-emitting device package using the same.SOLUTION: A phosphor emitting yellow light comprises: a first phosphor including at least any one of LuAG, SrSiON, and &bgr;-type SiAlON; and a second phosphor which forms a mixture by being mixed with the first phosphor, includes α-type SiAlON (Li-α-SiAlON) having Li as a metal component, and emits light excited by near-ultraviolet ray or blue light and having a peak wavelength positioned at the bandwidth of 550 nm to 590 nm, wherein the mixture of the first phosphor and the second phosphor can emit yellow light excited by near-ultraviolet ray or blue light. |
