PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cooker that can cook food at an appropriate temperature under a pressure below an atmospheric pressure.SOLUTION: A vacuum cooker comprises: a cooking vessel that accommodates food and can be sealed; pressure reducing means that depressurizes the inside of the cooking vessel to a pressure below an atmospheric pressure; a first temperature sensor of a noncontact type that detects the temperature of the food accommodated in the cooking vessel; a heater that heats the cooking vessel the inside of which has been depressurized by the pressure reducing means; and control means that controls the heater on the basis of a detection result from the first temperature sensor. |
