PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user designation command for a document to be processed from a hot folder.SOLUTION: A print server 120 monitors a hot folder 112 for searching a file to be processed in a print system 130 on the basis of the setting of the hot folder. The print server detects a management file 118 in the hot folder which indicates the number of documents to be printed for a certain period, takes out a document 114 from the hot folder for printing on the basis of a command in the management file, and starts the scheduling of the taken out document by a printer 132 of the print system. Furthermore, the print server decides the total number of the printed documents after the period has passed, determines whether the total number corresponds to the number indicated in the management file or not, and transmits a notification to a user of the hot folder in a case that the total number does not correspond to the number indicated in the management file. |
